  3. Talk about the 'Starting School Checklist' and see what you can already do

Our aim is for every child's transition into Windmill's Reception classes to be smooth, easy and happy; whether children are coming to us from our nursery (obviously our preference!), other nurseries, any other pre-school provision, including childminders, or no nursery/childcare background at all. 

Our induction programme includes open sessions and parents meetings and we will give you an opportunity to meet the teacher before the start of the school year in September – it is also a great opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
